People and Places: Hong Kong International Airport

“When I first came in 2018 as a DTS student and saw mountains from the airplane, my initial thought was, wow, Hong Kong is beautiful! Fast forward to 2021, when I entered the highly monitored airport during COVID for full-time staff, my thought was, wow, God is a miracle worker. He is beautiful!

The Hong Kong airport is a significant location for me because it symbolises God’s commitment to me, this city, and the world. It’s a place of hellos, goodbyes, losses, gains, transitions, and many paths being crossed, very much mirroring a part of my mission’s journey in Asia. Here is a window to seeing God’s loving kindness in the journey of life!”
