What is a Discipleship Bible School?

The Discipleship Bible School continues your journey of discipleship that began in the DTS. Over 12 weeks, we will read and study the Bible from beginning to end, following God’s Redemptive Plan for all of humanity. We will explore how God has carried out His plan through His nature and character. The biblical principles discovered from the stories of God’s chosen characters are the Living Word that births personal transformation. As we grow in community through small groups, class, worship, and prayer, you will become a disciple who makes disciples!

BECOMING A DISCIPLE

By studying the Bible, worship, prayer, and community living, students will be transformed and become more like disciples of Jesus. According to the lecture focus, such as the Pentateuch, Prophets, or the Gospels, international Bible teachers will introduce different books that fit within the changing weekly topic. In small groups you will dive deeper into the text with readings and discussion. As we grow in knowledge, we also desire for the truth to be visible in our lives as children of God and His disciples.

Overall daily schedule: Worship and intercession, lectures/class time, small groups: reading and discussion, community meals, work duties, one on ones, homework.

What we learn, we share. Based on the weekly topics, the students develop the ability to share the full story of God’s Redemptive Plan. The individual and group Bible studies help you learn to lead people to discover more of the Word in any group anywhere. Go, make disciples, and teach the Bible!
